The aim of this project was to transform the restaurant in a vacant office building into a vibrant, multifunctional space that would attract potential tenants. Rather than focusing on a cosmetic upgrade, we asked a more fundamental question: What kind of space would make people want to work here? Inspired by the principles of a vibrant urban boulevard, we developed the concept of the Social Boulevard: a dynamic environment that brings people, activities and experiences together.
The space is organised into five interconnected zones: Plaza, Boulevard, Market, Arena and Park. Each zone offers a distinct atmosphere, from quiet focus areas to co-working spaces, social dining and events. Flexible seating arrangements support different ways of working, meeting and connecting throughout the day. A variety of seating arrangements further supports different ways of using the space, accommodating everything from individual, focused work to informal collaboration and social interaction. Together, these elements create a dynamic environment that adapts throughout the day, offering more than just a place to eat or work.
